Favourite Winter Looks

Out of all the seasons Winter is definetly my favourite! Layering and thick clothes are the best parts of Winter and perfect to stay warm. In this post I've narrowed it down to my top 4 outfits with some items which are great for the weather!

This is probably one of my favourite looks. It's casual yet stylish, the layering and patterns really add to the outfit. I think the colours compliment each other well and it manages to change this basic look into a well put-together outfit. For the shoes, I chose the New Play Converse All Star (in white). They suit the look and bring a casual feel to it. I also chose a shoulder bag with a simple style and a bit of clever detailing.

For this outfit I chose to go with a cream jumper, maroon coloured leigh jeans and an oversized biker jacket. Chunky sweaters and leather jackets are a perfect combination for the Winter season. Coloured jeans are always a good way to spice up an outfit and still trendy. For accessories, I chose the simple shoulder bag, a basic black tube scarf, a Bloomingdales silver watch and plain ankle boots with buckle detailing. This look is perfect for going out with friends.

This look is what I'd wear for a casual winters day out where it's not too cold! I love the high waisted jeans and simple denim jacket. I chose a basic cream jumper to help tie it together. For accessories, a plain shoulder bag, a black scarf (easy to add or remove), a Marc Jacobs gold watch and Converse. Denim is a great way to a thick coat is too much and you can never go wrong is Converse. This is a great outfit for school too. It has a simple look yet still works well!

Lastly, this is another one of my favourite looks. I really like it because of the mixture of fabrics and colours along with the basic Winter accessories. I really think the denim shirt and brown cable-knit sweater compliment each other and with the addition of a biker jacket, it makes the ultimate outfit. I chose plain jeans to pair with it and a simple shoulder bag. For shoes, I used ankle boots with buckle detailing to keep with the gold buckle of the bag and face of the watch. A beanie or scarf is a simple addition to the outfit. This look is perfect for going out over the weekend or even a nice meal out!

How to Wear: Cut-Out Boots

Hello there! How are you? In todays post I have put together my favourite outfits featuring the currently popular trend of cut-out boots. I am loving some of the designs which are available. Hopefully you'll like these too!

This is one of my favourite looks with cut-out boots. I love the cropped jumper with the high-waisted shorts which are a statement piece. Paired with a Topshop porkie hat and Mulberry Effie satchel, it's a great look for a special occasion!

In this set I've used a vintage camouflage jacket from Owntherunway.com, a simple plain blouse and leather-look jeans. The Advance cut-out boots by Topshop help keep this a trendy look. This is another one of my favourite semi-casual looks.

Grey winter coats are one of my favourite trends this season. This look is perfect for Autumn/Winter weather. I love the contrast of black and white with a grey jacket.

In my final set I have chose a grey crop jumper and a plain black skirt. I also chose a Topshop popper front boyfriend coat - another large trend for the Winter! Paired with a cute Rag & Bone, Effie satchel and the Topshop advance cut-out boots!
